Nowadays, most banking institutions have implemented data analytics to address customers’ needs and company strategies, but even so, most of the processes are still manually done by data scientists. To provide the best service for customers, a more advanced and automated process is needed for better strategic planning and decisions.
As an engineer and also a researcher in the field of NLP for Bahasa Indonesia, Sidik Soleman shared the benefits of augmented analytics using advanced AI, especially NLP, to level up and automate the process of data analytics. Some tasks in NLP are topic detection, text classification, sentiment analysis, automatic summarization, and text normalization. The applications of the mentioned tasks can be found in search engines, spelling checkers, machine translation, spam detection, and social media monitoring.
Several benefits of the application of augmented analytics are that it can process a large amount and various types of data such as images, texts, number, videos automatically and fast. Hence, it can provide comprehensive analysis and avoid bias. While prior data analytics processes can report and predict customers’ behavior, augmented analytics using NLP can give insights about what customers are actually saying. With this information, companies can address the best strategy to ensure growth, productivity, better decision-making, more business opportunities, and risk assessment accuracy.
As a company focusing on developing AI for Bahasa Indonesia, Prosa.ai has developed some NLP products such as chatbots and a social media monitoring platform, known as Multichannel CX Analytics.
